This pocket guide has been great! It is filled with very helpful information and it fits right into my pocket, so I can have it with me all day long without lugging a big book around. This pocket guide and the RNotes are truely a great addition to my busy day on the nursing floor.

I highly recommend Psych Notes by Darlene Pederson. It is very complete, concise and accurate. A worthwhile book for both students and seasoned psychiatric nurses as it makes a wonderful quick reference and is very complete. I particularly like the presentation in the Disorders section which addresses signs and symptoms, causes, rule outs, lab tests and interventions. The "cause" section addresses not only the usual and customary "psychosocial" factors but also the pathophysiology.
